Questions That Need Answers

What if I’m in my third trimester? Can I still book you as my doula?

Yes, if I have availability. In these circumstances, our meetings will be booked close together to ensure you still receive all of the information I have to share before baby arrives.

Does a doula replace my doctor or midwife?

A doula is NOT a healthcare professional. I will provide you with physical and emotional support and provide you with information that will assist you in making informed decisions alongside your doctor or midwife. I do not provide any clinical exams or checks.

What happens if my doula can’t make it to my delivery?

If you book me and I am unable to make it to you during labor and delivery, a trained backup doula will attend your birth at no extra cost to you! This is a rare occurrence, but if it occurs, I will take care of it.

Do you work with clients outside of the Dallas area?

I do! I’ve served mamas in Houston, San Antonio, Washington D.C., and South Africa! How? Well, my virtual package can be booked by mothers outside of Dallas. If my physical presence is requested outside of the Dallas area, there is an additional charge.

How can I pay for your services?

You are more than welcome to pay in-full or utilize the flexible payment plans I have available. I accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA, Zelle, and Cashapp payments.

I can’t afford your prices. Can I still book with you?

Because I believe that every woman deserves a doula, I volunteer my services and/or offer sliding scale pricing to at least 3 mothers in need each year.

I don’t need a doula right now, but I would like to donate to help a woman who does. How do I make a donation?

Thank you for helping a woman in need. I do have a fund strictly for donations to help provide services for women who need financial assistance. You can donate by clicking here.
